Privacy & Cookies
This site doesn’t track you, doesn’t show you ads, and doesn’t set unnecessary cookies. Details below.
Cookies#
This site doesn’t use cookies to recognize or track you. The stats side runs
without cookies (explained below). Your theme choice (light/dark) is kept in
your browser’s own localStorage — not a cookie — and never leaves your device.
The infrastructure that speeds up and protects the site (Cloudflare) may set a
temporary technical/security cookie; that’s a “strictly necessary” one, not for
tracking you.
Visit statistics#
For rough stats like how many times a page was viewed, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. This tool sets no cookies, doesn’t track you across sites, doesn’t fingerprint you, and doesn’t identify you personally — it only keeps aggregate, anonymous numbers.
Comments#
The comment section under posts runs on Giscus and loads only when you click “load comments.” Nothing loads until you do. Once loaded, comments live on GitHub; from that point GitHub’s privacy policy applies.
What’s not here#
- No ads, no ad/tracking cookies.
- No trackers like Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
- Fonts are served from the site itself; nothing is pulled from Google Fonts or similar, so your visit isn’t reported to Google.
- No form collecting personal data — contact is directly by email and GitHub.
Personal data#
This site doesn’t collect your personal data through a form, newsletter, or account. So there’s effectively no personal data being “processed” here. If I ever add something that collects data (like a contact form), I’ll update this page accordingly.
